This is a charcoal with white chalk and a little soft pastel done on gray tones art paper. I enjoy doing these from time to time as both finished art but also as studies of a model to get ideas for a painting from the drawing or ideas from the model for a different painting of her. The drawing process is both exciting as well as sort of meditative to use basic tools to create a sense of beauty, expression and light.
